One of the most successful ventures into mobile poker has to have come from Carbon Poker. The app they have produced is hands down one of the best we have come across both in terms of design and the features it includes. Carbon Poker is also the only mobile poker site that welcomes real-money players from the United States. Their web app is compatible with virtually every type of phone or tablet, including the iPad, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Motorola, Google Nexus or Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 8.
What really drew us into Carbon Poker is their willingness to continue to improve and strive for innovation. They haven’t failed to disappoint once again as they offer up their brilliant Sit and Go section to their already brilliant, mobile poker app.

For those of you that have read our review about Carbon Poker on the iPad then you will be aware that we are pretty big fans, and for United States users, there are few better choices. The lack of Sit and Go games originally was something we were concerned about and to be honest, was almost a deal breaker on what we though was a great poker app. This inclusion just tops it off and Carbon has managed to cement themselves as one of the best in the mobile poker industry.
You get a good range of games to choose from on the app including regular, knockout, turbo and hyper turbo games (which are great fun by the way!). Again the tables include heads up, 6-seater and 9-seater, which adds a good range.
The ability to play all this on your iPad just adds the cherry on top of what is already a very sweet cake. There is much to be said about how this app out performs that of the smartphone, but in all honesty, the added screen real estate on the iPad is always going to be a winner.
As a final recap, we are very pleased to see the inclusion of the Sit and Go section for Carbon’s mobile poker room, particularly since it is currently the only real-money United States poker app. It adds depth, if nothing else and should be a winner for all you sit and go junkies!
